Change text colour on home screen after update to 16.4

After having updated to 16.4 all the text on the home screen (app names) changed to black and is now extremely hard to read. I cant find an option to change the text colour for the home screen.

If I change the wallpaper to a darker one, it automatically changes the text colour to white, but once I change back to my wallpaper it changes the text back to black.

How can I change or select the text colour for the home screen/app names?

It is not possible to change the text color under the app icons on the Home Screen.

The text color changes depending on which background is used. Very light backgrounds often produce black text, and dark backgrounds should produce white text. Try selecting the dark background that you would like to use again. Then try to make a Forced Restart of your iPhone, like this:

1. Press and quickly release Volume Up

2. Press and quickly release Volume Down

3. Press and hold the Side Button, the phone will restart. Release when you see the Apple Logo.

See if this doesn't fix it. If that doesn't fix it, then it might be a glitch after the update, which will surely be fixed later.
