App privacy on iPhone?

Is it possible for an app (for example shopping app) to use the microphone of an iphone secretly to listen to my daily conversation and use those to suggest me products on its page? I was unable to report this problem because it’s a free app.

is there a technical expert from apple who can possibly check for such issues with this app mentioned in below link?

Apple is not here.

The app would require authorization from the user and the com.apple.security.device.microphone entitlement.

With both, yes, access to the microphone is available. If either is missing, no.

When the microphone is active, iOS will show an orange (or sometimes red, depending on the background) indicator.

Here is the app support contact: support.app@daraz.com

If you have downloaded an app (free or otherwise), the app store will offer a Report a Problem link in the app store.

Given the amount of tracking listed for that and similar apps, I wouldn't expect the app developer to bother with the microphone and the added processing there. And it wouldn't surprise me to find this app developer or developers of other similar apps using other parallel sources of information to target advertising and offers. All of which is quite common. Without the overhead and costs and effort of using a microphone.
