Notes in new iPhone keeps requiring password

I got a new iPhone ( iPhone 13 ) and the notes kept asking for my password every time. I could not figure out how to set the face ID for the notes. But I finally figured it out and wanted to share with you all how to get past the notes in iPhone when they keep asking for the password. Start a new note, click the lock symbol, and set Face ID comes up as an option in the new note. Choose it and this will set Face ID in all of the notes!

Locked notes will not accept password I have locked my notes for privacy and after an update it continues to ask for the password and it was set to Face ID. It will not accept the correct password

What’s triggering notes password entering? hello peeps I do remember the password. So unlike from many users who forgot their passwords, my question about notes is more generic. While most of the times Face ID is unlocking the notes, sometimes it asks for the password instead. It seems like one of the triggers is a long time since the previous use. However it occasionally asks for a password even if notes were used just few hours ago. To note, I have two devices, and notes are syncing between them. Can a wrong entry on iPad (that stays at home) prompt for the password on iPhone which is out in my pocket? What else can trigger the need to enter password?
