I suppose it's possible you have installed malware, a browser redirect.
You could check with EtreCheck or Malwarebytes.
Is Safari > Settings > General > Homepage set to https://www.msn.com?
I just noticed if I use private browsing it works for the USA like it should and not China, Not sure wha to means
I’m constantly connected to some other country at any random time, I thought I was hacked I thought it could have just been a VPN profile installed that was using random servers, and I have had many theories and mistakenly voiced them too much and fought on the phone with Apple and my cell carrier until they had enough of me and hung up on me one day, that’s when my own personal research started and the calls and speaking about what I now know ended.. my home appliance LG account actually popped up a message when logging in that said to “change my region back to the same region when I created the account,” (I’ve never left the United States, don’t own a passport) I still don’t have access to that account and my smart home LG appliances were connected thru my iPhone at the time and I can’t access them that way anymore but they are almost certainly being remotely controlled! and whenever there is relative stress in my life I’ll get a random text from “LG”.. I would never buy LG products again, I have tried for help to no avail because my attitude and their not disclosing security issues, but this will be a year in June that this happened and it’s still an issue.. all I have now are backdoor openings in the accessibility settings (Apple’s site says they have never created a backdoor ) so if not then why not help close mine for me and not lie.. they no I know what happened, I learned on my own because no one helped and my pursuit to find out wasn’t accepting it, I can talk to Apple T-Mobile and Verizon at this point and their knowledge is less then mine, I had a network guy come to my house 2 weeks ago and I paid him 190 to help me but realized after he left I paid him and gave him a networking lesson instead because I showed him things he never heard of.. I can help or tell Apple like a gentleman what i know and the capabilities of my devices but they won’t have much to do with me it seems. And I feel black listed and personally attacked! My advice is, let it be. They will never disclose what’s happened even with visual proof.
That’s interesting I haven’t noticed that about private mode. I’m going to check that out, I want to see what it does on my end in private mode too I haven’t logged onto my iMac in a few days also I am currently running a slightly older operating system at the moment, I’m taking a slightly different approach to upgrading formatting, and encryption, trying not push it too fast to the most current OS to see if the background process itself irons things out for me, so I’m going to look into that myself and I’ll update you for some comparison…also check out your backup because when I look in my iCloud backup I have (Chinese/Japanese keyboard data) that’s backing up as well, it doesn’t show what its for, so that must be a previously downloaded app I had installed, why it would be backing up data still when I don’t currently use it is concerning but also there is I believe a huge portion of iCloud storage that is stored on third party servers located in China..

That item is normal.
Keyboard Data ( Chinese & Japanese ) - Apple Community
Thank for clearing that up, tho I’m not doubting your knowledge at all I also know that Apple isn’t willing to disclose any security breaches and that’s understandable, but doesn’t Apple also have that same type of support for multiple other languages as well? And if so why would there be only Japanese/Chinese keyboard data? I may as well learn the language at this point ( I was considering it about 30 years ago but heard it was too hard to learn and didn’t do it) because I’m starting to feel like I live there and just don’t know it because on iPhone 13, I can search on safari for something and after 2 pages or so I have nothing but Chinese language results so I’m limited with results and stuck with just 2 or 3 pages of results and those are always the same websites constantly that pop up and yes they do seem like totally credible sources.. but I can’t decide that unless I read other random sources and decide for myself who and what website is the more credible source, I’m sure the Chinese results I can’t read are very credible sources as well but they aren’t auto translated to English for me and I just haven’t bothered doing that yet, I have to much to figure out with my network here first. but I also like to search random things for more options to choose so I can learn as much as I can, I’m tired of getting the same info from the same websites.. on random searches, I’ll always give them a read. But it feels like I can only learn what the internet is allowing me to and from who it wants me to learn from. and the first 2 search page results, before the language change happens seem to be from Europe, basically I don’t believe I connect to anything here in the states anymore.. so from my point of view, how am I to know for sure that my first few page results aren’t Chinese language websites automatically translated to English, it leaves you not know what’s what and everything seems turned inside out and backwards, and kinda Mirrored

Japanese and Chinese are unusual, in that typing them requires connecting keyboard input to databases/catalogs of thousands of ideograms, often with multiple possible results. The "data" requirements for these languagea are of a different order than for others that Apple supports.
Regarding you problems with MSN, you might try alternative browsers and ask MSN support .
I don’t use MSN, it actually doesn’t matter which browser or search engine I use, results end up being the same, it’s just a different privacy measurement behind switching browsers/search engines for me, the rest of what I mentioned happens across any and all Apple devices I own. what my real issue is I think my much broader problem is more of a network issue and how and who originally set up my wife’s MacBook for her and to what/who’s network and what type of connection they set it up with, I didn’t know much then, and I still don’t. What I do know is it seems the individual (her sister) who purchased that MacBook Air for her must’ve set it up set it up and because I didn’t know much and didn’t use her computer I never realized she wasn’t and didn’t know how to log into WiFi on it, she assumed I did it for her, but I used her mac a handful of times over the years, and never went into her network settings. It was just always connected and there weren’t Ny issues, I think it was maybe setup Using an airport utility base station or something like that but all I know is after my internet company changed last June and they cut lines the next day when the internet was back on my problems I speak of all started, after then I was just trying to fight off what I thought may have been a hack with possible identity theft and I saw in my wife’s MacBook keychain it was showing access to her Mac from her sisters house and to or from her fathers house in March 2022 and and June 2022 right before my network problems when my internet companies changed, But I didn’t notice that until all the problems happened that’s when my journey to learn and find out what happened, craziest part is we live well over 1000 miles away from each other.. and I thought a hack was trying to work its way to her sister or father because I was able to follow a path in her iPhone that took all of her contacts and mapped out a path using her contacts pictures and cell numbers with labels to her sisters contact and at the end it said “you are her” and “her” was my wife’s sisters contact info and who ever “you” is I still never figured out what that was supposed to mean. all though they hadn’t spoken in 3 or 4 years at the time, I urged her to call her sister and warn all family as I did on my end to be safe, but hard headed people for some reason can’t unfortunately because they always have had fallen outs in the past,,so I tried for help but I’m told all was ok, but it’s not. And I know what I saw and I have so much more interesting stuff I want to say but I know I need to watch what I say and what I reveal on an open forum, but my sense of security is shattered after seeing all I saw on her MacBook and now I’ve got only incoming traffic to my network, no answer from the professionals. But the more I research what happened the more personal attacks happen. But no money loss, so I’ve got a real problem, something other with the control. And they/it let’s me know who’s boss when it wants too. So I’m slowly trying to figure it all out. It took me almost a year to finally head head and join the forum for possible help because there isn’t any anywhere else. I know I went so off topic and I apologize. I’ve gained some strong basic knowledge but that’s as far as I can get. And they who ever they may be want it that way.. again sorry for long off topic story but it is all kind of relative to the original post but it at my wits end with all this. Thanks for reading and any advice you have given or can give further!
