Proximity sensor not working problem

While using whatsapp proximity sensor is not working properly

Proximity sensor issues I have iPhone 14 pro max and while making an inbound wats app call my proximity sensor does not work, screen does not go black when iPhone near my cheek but in inbound calls the sensor works like it should and in normal inbound and outbound phone it works fine, the only issue is with outbound watsapp call. I have rest the settings and force restarted iPhone removed and reinstalled app multiple times updated to iOS 16.0.3 but it’s still the same

iPhone 14 pro proximity sensor not functioning well in whatsapp and 3rd party apps The normal behavior: When placing the phone on your ear during a WhatsApp call or listening to a voice note, the screen should automatically go black to prevent accidental touches. The current behavior (issue description): When placing the phone on your ear during a WhatsApp call or listening to a voice note, the screen take 5-6 seconds to go black. happens in all 3rd party app calls & voice notes but doesn't happen with native apps. I tested more than 5 different iPhone 14 pro and pro max they all had the same issue. Has anyone figured out a way to solve this?
