Display blinks for a moment after uninstalling Easyres on my MacBook Pro 14"

Hi everyone, I have 14" MacBook Pro.

After installing Easyres – and uninstalling it 'cause I realised it is not the app that I need – I've noticed a strange behaviour oh the display on the startup.

Even during the login screen is shown, the display blinks (becomes black) for a moment, like it is trying to change resolution of the display. At the and, it sets the correct resolution, but I never saw acting like this BEFORE installing Easyres.

How can I restore everything? It's very annoying!

PS: Or maybe it is a norm behaviour? Do you also have it?

Did you try to start your MacBook Pro in Safe Mode, as explained in this article?

During that process, macOS will check itself for issues and correct them if possible.

You will not lose data by reinstalling macOS, but having a recent backup is always a good idea.

Solved by re-installing Ventura from recovery. 🙂

Are you using the default resolution for your display, or did you set up a scaled resolution?

This looks like your login screen is shown in the default resolution at first, and then the resolution is being switched to your scaled resolution, causing the black screen in between those two resolution modes.

On my MacBook Pro, running Catalina, the screen goes black for a split-second, when it switches from the default login screen to my grey background and loads all the icons and settings for the desktop.
