The Hawaiian Flag. Hawai’i being the 50th state of the USA, Native Hawaiians DESERVE their own flag emoji to represent their cultural background online. Every other ethnicity and background has their flag, why not the Native Hawaiians? It’s 2023. Come on Apple.

Emojis are part of an international Unicode standard, and Apple implements thar but does not create Emojis.

New Emojis should be submitted to the standards committee:

However, the Unicode Emoji committee is not accepting flag requests:

https://unicode.org/emoji/proposals.html#Flags

Per the Emoji committee: “The Emoji Subcommittee and the UTC will no longer accept proposals for flags. Flags for countries with Unicode region codes are automatically added, with no proposals necessary.”

Too many flags, too little storage.
