Wear OS by Google (watch) will not connect with iPhone.

I have an iPhone 7+ and am having no success in connecting my Mobvoi Ticwatch E3 using their Wear OS app. I believe both the phone and watch are current on their updates. I’ve tried powering items off and on, reinstalling Wear OS app. I’ve tried everything I’ve found online to try apart from factory resetting watch. It has software on it for my wheelchair.
