using apple id on mobile data

Hi,


I can't use most of my Apple ID on mobile data.

It will only let me enter Subscriptions and Password & Security (that last one just wants to give me the verification code).

It all works just fine when I'm on WiFi.


I read on the Apple help pages that I need to enable Mobile Data, but I already have it enabled. The help pages don't seem to mention a scenario where enabling Mobile Data doesn't solve the issue.


Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.


Just to confirm, when you say that you can't use your Apple ID on mobile data, are you unable to use apps that require internet access when not connected to Wi-Fi?


If so, while we understand that you've enabled Mobile Data in Settings > Mobile, do you also have all the apps enabled (green tab showing) under the "Cellular Data" section.


If you do have all apps enabled, do you by chance see No Service or Searching in the iPhone status bar when not connected to a Wi-Fi network? We ask because this would indicate that your iPhone isn't connected to a cellular network.

Thanks for your reply.


There is no issue with the apps.


I've found a screenshot on Google that shows the problem exactly like on my screen.

Only difference is I also have 'Subscriptions' on there. When I click that, I get an error "Can't connect".


When I click 'Password & Security', I get the following pop up.

As soon as I connect to WiFi, everything works just fine, no issue whatsoever.


I have tried signing out and in (using WiFi), but that didn't change anything.
