M1 Pro MacBook Pro heating issue (8 core model)

I recently bought the 14-inch MacBook Pro M1 Pro, been using it for a week and I started to notice overheating near the trackpad on both sides (near the control and fn key on the left side and near the arrow keys on the right side) for just basic usage like Apple Music and YouTube in safari. This heating would be reasonable if I used any video editing software. Then I used pages and other apps which does not use speakers then I sensed normal temperature only. But Only when hearing songs the laptop is overheating don't know why. Never seen any laptop heat this much for just the general usage. Does this problem occur with the recent MacBooks or just mine??

(ps: my MacBook got stuck , lagged , everything which shouldn't happen to a new laptop happened , but after restarting it was fine!)

Hi AbishekAaron,

We'll be glad to go over this with you further. Heat can be caused by a number of factors. When not using any taxing software (such as video editing as you'd mentioned), there can be background processes using power that may create heat as well.

Aside from that, you may find the information in Keep your Mac laptop within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support helpful as well.

"If you have issues with your Mac laptop’s operating temperature, contact Apple. Or visit an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider."

We hope this helps.

Cheers.
