I applied

for the activation lock request and I got this email back for them

We are unable to process your request at this time.

"


Will the continue to request that I submitted or they denied it?

Apple support has an article online (link below) that says:

"Get up to date information on your repairs, reservations, and tech support cases. Purchase or register AppleCare products. And much more."


How to find your Case or Repair ID - Apple Support


Seems, as you have a case number, you can keep watch for any "recent activity" that may appear online, if you follow the link and info. in the article.
