It sounds like you're wanting to locate a missing device without another device, where you'd be able to use the Find My app. You can use the iCloud webpage to track devices in a fashion similar to the Find My app. Check out this page to learn how to Locate a device in Find Devices on iCloud.com.
Be sure to check out the "Locate a family member’s or friend’s device: section of the page if you're part of a Family Sharing group, as someone in the group may be able to help you locate your device.
