Hello jjMulligan,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you need help disabling "Control Nearby Devices" on your iPhone. If so, we can guide you through the settings on your device where you can control this feature. On your iPhone, navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Control Nearby Devices. Here, you should see the option that reads "Control Nearby Devices", if you select that options, you will see which devices you're currently linked to. Select the device and close out to disconnect from that device.

If you're using Switch Control to control your devices, this resource explains in-depth on how to use this feature and how to turn it off: Use Switch Control on your device to control another Apple device - Apple Support

Turn off Switch Control on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use your switch to navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Switch Control, and turn the setting off.

We hope this helps you out. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
