No, you cannot submit your US passport for an Apple ID. When creating an Apple ID, you will typically only be asked to provide basic personal information such as your name, email address, and date of birth. You will also need to create a password and set up security questions to protect your account.

Apple may ask for additional information to verify your identity in certain situations, such as when making a purchase or changing account details. In these cases, you may be asked to provide a government-issued identification such as a driver's license or passport. However, you would not typically be asked to submit your passport when creating or managing your Apple ID.

If you have any concerns about providing personal information to Apple or any other company, I would recommend reviewing their privacy policies and terms of service carefully before proceeding.

Hello. I've been asked to prove my identity and scan my Photo ID while applying for an Apple Card. Currently, I'm in the process of getting my driving license and have only a learner permit with a photo as my ID. Can I provide such ID as a learner permit? Will they approve it, or have I wait to get my driving license?
