iPad Air Gen 5
My iPad Air Gen 5 does not have the option for toggling dynamic volume control. Looking at all other forums the setting should be in sound, but the slider bar does not exist for my ipad.

You are quite correct; your iPad Air5 does not provide the means to disable the dynamic volume controls.
Dynamic volume controls were introduced with release of iPadOS 15.4 onwards. For reasons known only to Apple, the ability to disable this feature in favour of fixed volume controls is not available for any new models of iPad and iPad Pro that have since been launched - these models being:
- iPad Air5
- iPad mini6
- fourth generation iPad Pro 11”
- sixth generation iPad Pro 12.9”
- iPad10
