Screen time.

How can I get rid of screen time? My brother set my screen time up on my iPhone(8) a while back and I’ve been trying to get rid of it and I guess I changed the password on accident and when I try to put in my email and my password it just tells me it’s incorrect I have no clue if it’s because I’m trying to reset it with a new Apple ID password. He tried to input the same password he used to set up the screen time but it didn’t work I’ve been trying see how I can override it but it just tells me to back my phone up and reset it but won’t that just cause the screen time to come with the data also? (Is there anyway I can go to apple and have them override and delete the screen time) Thank you so much apple community!

Hi achilles165,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

If you're unable to remember the Screen Time passcode, you can update your iPhone and then reset the passcode. This process is explained below:

If you forgot your Screen Time passcode, update your device to the latest iOS or iPadOS then reset your passcode. If you can’t update your device, erase it and set it up as new to remove the passcode and choose a new one. Restoring your device from a backup won't remove your passcode.

This information is provided in Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

If you need help with resetting your Apple ID password, use these steps: If you forget your Apple ID or password

Take care.
