Universal Control is no longer working on my MacBook Air with my iPad

Hi guys.

I used to connect wirelessly my m1 MacBook Air to my iPad Air fifth gen but it doesn't do anymore.

I wanted to use my iPad as second screen or maybe to use the Magic Mouse with Universal Control but it can't do it no more. I tried to rebook Mac, reboot iPad and router, nothing helps.

Could it be the last Os update? it seemed to work fine before.

Hello tardegardo,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like Universal Control is not working as expected.

To get that, we want to ensure that both devices are still compatible with Universal Control. To do that, make sure both the mac and the iPad being used is listed here: Universal Control: Use a single keyboard and mouse between Mac and iPad - Apple Support

If they are both listed there, follow the steps found here: Universal Control: Use a single keyboard and mouse between Mac and iPad - Apple Support

If it still is not working as expected, the next step will be to make sure both devices are completely up to date. To do that, follow the steps in the appropriate link below:

Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support

Kindest regards.
