Is it possible to make the Apple ultra watch smaller with the same performance capacity?

Is Apple trying to make the Apple watch Ultra smaller? I went to the store to try on the ultra before I purchased it because I knew it was big and to my disappointment it felt like I had a tablet on my wrist. I am a runner who runs in cold weather. I currently use a 7 series, but it cannot handle extreme weather. So when I heard about the ultra and its performance capabilities, I knew I needed to upgrade. However, it too big for my small wrists. Is there any plans to make it smaller? If so, I would be your 1st buyer! :)
