Repeated requests by the same app to join local network

A few apps on my phone keep asking over and over again for the local network access permission (e.g. Hue and Stitcher.) No matter how many times I answer either yes or no, the permission is not added to the Privacy —> Local Network access list.

Oddly, there’s actually nothing at all listed in the Local Network access list — just a blurb about how that is where a list of apps that have asked for access would appear. As mentioned, a few apps have asked many times, but nothing appears there at all.

Hi j4rd,

You should have a Local Network toggle in Settings for the app in question.

If you go to the apps in question, for example Settings > Hue, do you see Local Network on?

If you're not seeing that, try removing and reinstalling the app to get the permissions to show up correctly.
