I am trying to reinstall the operating system for Mac after erasing the desk, and it keeps popping up with a message saying “an error occurred while preparing installation” how do I fix this?

Troubleshooting macOS Install Error:
I. Use a USB Bootable Installer:
Create a USB Bootable Installer for High Sierra. (If installing anew, delete the hard drive's partition). Then, install this macOS with it. Go Here: How to Create a Bootable Installer for macOS - Apple Support. You'd need to use another person's Mac to create one.
II. No Success?...
A. Try Later On:
There is reportedly issues connecting to Apple's servers. So, you'll have to try later on, if using your iPhone.
B Use Ethernet:
You may want to perform this using Ethernet, as it would provide a more reliable connection (being hardwired).
