Hub for my MacBook Pro M2 - Thunderbolt 4 needed or is USB C spec sufficient?

Hi all. I need a hub for my MacBook Pro M2

Requirements include:

  • Connections for 2 HDMI monitors
  • Hub can supply at least 67W of power to my Mac

My usage situation is being able to put my Mac on a desk and to just have to connect one cable from it to the hub. This cable needs to be able to:

  • Receive power from the hub to charge my Mac
  • Transmit data to the hub, including for the 2 HDMI monitors (these are standard 24 inch screens, nothing too fancy, used for music production mostly).

Please can someone advise if I need to get a Thunderbolt 4 hub, or if for my usage case, I could use a USB C hub (I think I can plug USB C cables into my Mac’s Thunderbolt 4 ports?)

I am just trying to get the job done without paying up for an over-specified hub.

Many thanks in advance for your advice.
