Apple Books

Is there a way to read two different books on two different devices without jumping back and forth in my library? Can I read Book A on my iPad and Book B on my iPhone?

Books.app syncs on iPhone and iPad, but not on Mac I have Books on my iPhone, iPad and Mac. If I open a book on the iPhone or iPad, it opens in the Books app, and it will sync my reading progress. In other words, if I read up to page 20 on my iPhone, it will open at page 20 when I open it on my iPad. But if I open the Books app on my Mac, the book opens in Preview, and does not bring me to the last page read on the other device. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using the latest OS on all devices.

Searching books on ibook app I have one old ipad mini with ios version 9.3.6 and ibook version 4.8. Recently I was not able to update the software or any of the apps from the app store. I want to use the ibook app for reading the book and hence started searching the book and found it is not able to search books from library hence I am not getting any books now from the ibook library. Need support here to make use the ibook and to access the library so that I can utilize this book for reading.
