App Store - payment withdrawn

My family member can’t load anything from app store. (iPhone X)

When pressing the download button phone asks to confirm it with side button, pressing two times.

After this phone makes a sound and red exclamation mark shows up with a text: payment withdrawn. Then the window closes.


Apple family sharing is on. I’m the parent and l can load and pay everything from app store. I can’t share my apps with her eighter. Same thing happens.


This worked perfectly before.

Hi Vi-vi,


The error message that you're seeing coupled with the fact that shared purchases are not accessible by this user suggest that Purchase Sharing may be disabled or need to be reconfigured for the account in quesiton.


If you are the Family Organizer of the Family Share group, follow the steps in How to share purchases with your family to check that this was not turned off, or try toggling the service off and back on for the individual:


"Use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to turn on purchase sharing

  1. If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet, set up Family Sharing.
  2. Open the Settings app.
  3. Tap Family. If you don't see Family, tap your name, then tap Family Sharing.
  4. Tap Purchase Sharing.
  5. Tap Continue and follow the onscreen instructions.
  6. To see which payment method will be billed, tap Purchase Sharing again and look at the Shared Payment Method information."


Regarding shared content, please also note per that article "Some items can't be shared. Find out which types of content can't be shared."
