Emptying trash, Cannot delete trash “VoiceTrigger” is in use.

i have some files in my trash that I cannot remove, or move. These were previously contained in a test user account. When trying to empty the trash I get

“VoiceTrigger” is in use.

sudo rm -rf /Users/myuser/.Trash/test/Library/VoiceTrigger

within VoiceTrigger is a file or folder called SAT

I have tried sudo rm -rf /Users/myuser/.Trash/test/Library/VoiceTrigger

Password:

rm: /Users/myuser/.Trash/test/Library/VoiceTrigger/SAT: Operation not permitted

rm: /Users/myuser/.Trash/test/Library/VoiceTrigger: Permission denied

When in voicetrigger I get

$ ls -al

ls: SAT: Operation not permitted

total 0

drwxrwxr-x@ 3 503 staff 96 27 Apr 2019 .

d---------@ 3 503 staff 96 1 Apr 13:06 ..

ls: fts_read: Operation not permitted

I cannot remove the folder from the trash now either?

I have tried restarting, sudo rm -rf, disk recovery mode, but nothing is working for me?

When looking at the SAT permissions which I can see from the ui it says that I have 'unknown access'

Please help. How can I empty my trash?

Issues like these seemed to be resolved by disabling SIP; deleting the problem; re-enabling SIP.
