Attempting to download TomTom MyDrive from Apple’s Appstore

I have this since 2016 on my iPhone, currently SE2020, and working. I just bought my wife a TomTom G Essential EU to replace her ancient TomTom and needed to download TomTom MyDrive to her IPhone SE 2020, iOS 16.3.1, and after the “Get” in various medium to highspeed WLAN locations, consistently get a rotating grey circle, but no download. He iPhone is always fully charged and has mor than enough free space.

Anybody else experiencing this or know a fix?

Should the behavior persist, and only with this specific app, it may be helpful to contact the app developer directly. Here's how: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support


Contact the developer of an iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS app
1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Search for the app, then tap it. If you can't find it, tap the account button  or your photo at the top of the screen, tap Purchased, tap "Not on this [device]," then tap the app.
3. The app's product page appears. Scroll to the Ratings & Reviews section, then tap App Support. If you don't see App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.
