Bluetooth keyboard + games

Okay, so I was trying to connect my Bluetooth keyboard to my iPad, and it worked. the one I see that’s not working is that my keyboard wont connect to games.. Please help because the only reason to buy a keyboard was to play games.

This one will work for a while and then seem to lose connection. If I remove the iPad from the keyboard/case and re-attach, it will work again for awhile. I’ve seen this issue before on this forum but not sure if Apple has addressed this bug. It’s a major issue in my opinion as I love my IPad being used as a laptop replacement, and stage manager is a big reason I can do it. But having keyboard randomly not working interferes with my workflow. Please help Apple!

Bluetooth keyboard lag with 7th Gen iPad Hi, I have recently bought my daughter a compatible bluetooth keyboard (Logitech Slim Folio) to work with her 7th gen iPad. It connects OK, but each keypress required around a 2 second press to get a key to appear. I have reset the network and dictionary settings, soft reset, deleted and re-added the device etc. all to no avail. I have even tried two separate Logitech Slim Folio keyboards and they both have the same issue. I also have a Logitech bluetooth keyboard I use with my Mac and that works perfectly, so I connected that to the ipad and the same issue, leading me to think that the issue is with the ipad. It states that it is compatible with this ipad, so should work. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can try? Many thanks, Graham

the game need to support keyboard input for it to work, games which rely only on touch will not begin to respond to a keyboard input because it is connected
