System notifications while camera in use

How do I suppress system notifications when I’m taking photos. I know you all know what I mean. I open my camera to take a sweet shot and iPhone decides it needs to notify me of 20% battery so I came her to complain about the awesome shot I missed. Earlier today I was taking some other photos and location services just had to know right then if I still needed them on. Of course I was in bright light outdoors and could just barely see the screen. Again, I missed a bunch of shots, and my temper. PLEASE APPLE FIGURE THIS OUT!! How hard is it to lock out ALL notification while the camera is open?
