can't get SOS off of my iPhone. Cannot receive or make calls. How do I get the phone to work normally with out SOS?

How do I get the SOS notice off of my phone. I can't make or receive calls. This is the 2nd time and I have only had the iPone since November 2022???

If you see SOS or "SOS only" in the status bar, your device can still make emergency calls.

  1. Check your coverage area. ... 
  2. If you see SOS or SOS only. ... 
  3. If you're on AT&T's 3G network. ... 
  4. Restart your iPhone or iPad. ... 
  5. Check for a Carrier Settings update. ... 
  6. Turn your cellular line off and back on. ... 
  7. Reset your Network Settings.
