Unknown user in Sharing & Permissions

Hi, I have discovered an unknown user (wheel with Read only privileges) in the Sharing & Permissions info window of iMac, 24-inch, M1, 2021 running Ventura 13.2.1. Logged in as System, when I attempt to remove this account, a pop up says "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have the necessary permission." What's going on?

mystery user on my new macbook The login screen on my newly arrived 2021 macbook has three users: me, guest, and someone/something named "caspermanage" - who is that??? Is it normal for an unused macbook to arrive with another user with his/its own identity, password and so on? It even came with its own personal graphic - the head of a bald eagle. I did do an automatic migration of data before the macbook gave me the chance to login, but I only transferred my own data and apps. As the administrator of my new macbook I know I can delete this "caspermanage" account, but I'd rather figure out what's going on first. Thanks!

Suspicious UserId in Activity Monitor Activity Monitor is showing a _modelmanagerd user id. Is this suspicious or normal? I believe someone may have access to my computer. Thanks in advance.

Item found in "Login Items" after installing Ventura (kextload) - what is it? Kextload "from unidentified developer" found in login items. Anyone know what it is? I found the "Screen Sharing" app running in my dock, and don't know how it got turned on. Now I'm worried someone could have viewed my screen while I had a spreadsheet visible with all my account passwords. I see other things in login items that I am not sure about. Paragon NTFS for Mac, "sh from unidentified developer", "StandaloneUpdaterDaemon from unidentified developer".

Is it a user or a group? Wheel is an admin group. I’m not aware of there being a user, but I’m not at a Mac to check.

There are many areas of macOS that you cannot modify.

Barney, you are correct.

Using Terminal one can enter: 'id -Gn root' and see that user root belongs to group wheel, among other groups.

But if you use 'id -Gn wheel', it returns no such user.
