Apple Music Filling Storage Space

Just in the past three days I have gotten notices about my phone storage space is full. I check settings and suddenly Apple Music has loaded over 150Gb of music files to the phone.

Why did this start and how can I stop it? I’ve tried deleting all music from the phone 3x but it keeps getting loaded back.

What setting was defaulted to this and why would they make that the default setting?
