Copy photo / video to desktop is failed for soo many years..”
Each time i’m going to vacation - I have to go through the same quest again and again…
Why is it so difficult for apple to make reliable copying of the files from their devices?
Yesterday I spent 4 hours on copying of… 10 video files.
Copying files group is not possible, i get random errors. So i copied them one by one.
In 90% of cases when i start to copy it throws errors like “requested value cannot be determined” or “A device attached to the system is not functioning”.
Tried different cables, different PC’s, different USB ports. Result is the same, random errors and very slow progress!!!
Tried to google the issue, there are huge troubleshoot guides which are useless at all. Why would anyone write such pages for so simple copy operations?
Before i start using iPhones i wasn’t aware that copying files can be so difficult… never!
Just wonder, why for so many years apple doesn’t try to fix this?

I copy selected videos in Windows explorer.
