tracking sleep

How/can I ensure that Apple Watch tracks ALL of my sleep? My cat wakes me up around 4:30 a, at which time the watch asks if I want to cancel my alarm, which I will... but if I go back to bed, Watch doesn't track that, just the sleep that occurred between bedtime and 4:30.

I think I saw where Watch doesn't track "naps," but if I sleep in for another couple of hours, how do I track that? Sleep mode?

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities Clay,

Rather than dismissing the alarm, tap Snooze if you plan to continue sleeping.

When an alarm sounds, you can tap Snooze to wait several minutes before the alarm sounds again.
