Accessing the AppleTV app on a Roku TV

I need help getting past the log in hurdle on a Roku TV for the AppleTV app. I'm in a loop....it keeps bringing me back to the log in process. I've tried unplugging the TV, removing and adding back the app, but no luck. Everytime I enter the authorization code, it takes back to the start of the process. I can play AppleTV on my computer, but not this Roku TV, which I have been watching the app on until just recently. I don't know if it's related to the 3 month free trial issue or not. If it was, I wouldn't think it would let me watch it on the computer, but not the TV.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you're unable to gain access to Apple TV+ content using your Roku TV. Specifically, it keeps looping you back to sign in. You've done a great job in troubleshooting this issue. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app was a great step to attempt. We do recommend that you confirm that your Roku TV is fully updated as well. This can sometimes fix software related issues.
