I have a Powerpoint file that has macros. On my Mac, a pop-up appears allowing me to "enable macros." However, when I airdrop this file to my iPad, I do not get an option to enable macros and this file is saved in Powerpoint on my iPad with the pptx extension and not the pptm file extension. I see no "preferences" or "settings" on the iPad Powerpoint app like there is on my Mac Powerpoint app. Thanks for any help with this.

You can install PowerPoint on a Windows or Mac laptop computer assuming you have a suitable licence. It won't work on ChromeOS, and might not work on a Microsoft Surface laptop. Running macros requires the right kind of hardware and software support. VBA macros do not work on iOS devices or the web.

Macros should work for installed versions of Office/Microsoft 365 on Windows or Mac computers. They won't work on the web versions.

So installing Powerpoint on a laptop is not possible, it can only be the web version of PP on a laptop? Installed versions of PP are only possible on a Mac or Windows computer? Sorry to keep asking questions but I appreciate your help.
