How come my music is “Greyed out” in IMovie?

How come my music is “Greyed out” in IMovie so I can’t use any of it except 3 random songs? They are from ITunes not Imusic?

We need to determine whether the problem is the song or iMovie. Open side by side an iMovie project and your iTunes library and drag one of the grayed out songs from the iTunes library into the iMovie timeline. See if it plays.
