Wobbling sounds from iphone lightning adapter to earphone

I bough a new iPhone lighter adapter to connect my earphone to my iPhone XS Max. Whenever I use it in a meeting for while (like 30mins), the sound begins to wobble. I have to disconnect from the meeting and reconnect again to get the sound clear. This is frustrating. What can I do please. The earphone works well on my laptop and other phone (without the lighting adapter). So the problem is the lighting adapter I just bought new.

1.What could be the solution?

2.Is there an adapter that doesn’t require Bluetooth to connect?

Thank you 🙏

That is strange why the adaptor would need bluetooth to operate. The only thing I can think of is the that adaptor is made for phones that don't have bluetooth and it's a bluetooth transmitter. The lightning adaptor I use with my own iPhone XR is the adaptor from Apple found in the link I provided above. Just to make sure the adaptor worked as expected I confirmed the Apple adaptor will work on my XR when bluetooth is turned off.

I would suggest, if you can, return the adaptor and get an Apple branded one. Perhaps there are other brands that work but I'm not familiar with them as I've only used the one from Apple.

Whether or not it will stop the wobbling condition I don't know as that might be a separate issue. The only way to find out is to make one change at a time and that would start with a new adaptor.
