Can I migrate my stickies in Yosemite to Ventura? I had problems with Time Machine and am transferring files and folders one at a time. Stickies said "damaged file" on new machine.

On Yosemite, use Finder to drag and drop the StickiesDatabase file to a USB stick. On Ventura, drag and drop that StickiesDatabase from the USB stick into your local (/Users/yourname/Library) Library folder. Then run the Ventura Stickies application. If it still indicates this is a damaged file, then you are done as there is no other recovery process than a Yosemite Time Machine restore of the StickiesDatabase file prior to its damaged state.
On macOS Catalina and newer, the StickiesDatabase is no longer used as a digest file and the individual stickies stored within the old format are automatically extracted by the Stickies application and written as new, individual Rich Text Documents with Attachment (.rtfd) files. Subsequent new stickies are then just directly stored as this type of file. These files are stored in the /Users/yourname/Library/Containers/Stickies folder hierarchy.
