Ventura 13.3 Apple Preview 11.0 (1043) Eraser tool broke?
I'm always on the latest MacOS/iOS
How do I get Preview Eraser to work?
I've tried without success.
Anyone?

If you are trying to erase elements from images or do any kind of extensive editing then yes, you would need a dedicated app meant to edit images. There are many depending on your needs. One that is good and available from the App Store is Affinity Photo. GIMP is a free option available here: https://www.gimp.org/

Preview doesn't have an "Eraser" tool. Do you mean the Instant Alpha tool or are you trying to remove the background?

Thank you the DaB. I don’t know “instant alpha tool” but before seeing your reply learned there may be no way to edit a photo or captured image without an advanced editing tool. “Do you concur”?
