If you want to completely deactivate the email address, follow these steps:


  1. Open the Apple menu () > System Settings.
  2. Click [your name] at the top of the sidebar.
  3. Choose iCloud on the right, then Hide My Email.
  4. Select an address on the left, click Deactivate Email Address on the right, then click Deactivate.


This will deactivate the email address for that particular website or vendor.

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click the Safari menu > Settings.
