How can I delete Hide my eMail and go back to using autofill

I really dislike HIDE MY EMAIL. I want to use autofill for most fill-in requests. Can anyone help me?

Hello charlottescot,

If you want to stop using, or delete a Hide My Email address, please check out this link, which will guide you through that process: Stop using, reactivate, or delete a Hide My Email address on iCloud.com

Stop using an address created with Hide My Email
1. On iCloud.com, click the App Launcher button in the toolbar, then click Hide My Email.
2. Select the email address you want to stop using.
3. Click “Deactivate email address,” then follow the onscreen instructions.

When you stop using a unique, random address, any emails sent to that address are returned to the sender.

Please also check out this link for more information on using AutoFill and how to manage those settings: Change AutoFill settings in Safari on Mac

Thanks!

Thanks for trying, Brittany. I had gone to iCloud before writing. The problem is, I never created new names or addresses for email so, I have nothing to erase.

All that Hide My Email has done is wipe out auto-fill. I take no joy in entering my email and other contact information again and again.

Maybe, for people who do a lot on social media or blogging, Hide My Email is a blessing but I truly appreciated auto-fill and miss it.

Thanks for those additional details charlottescot,

The steps we provided do not involve iCloud at all, so we are a little confused about your response. These settings are for Safari using macOS on your MacBook Air. Can you let us know if you followed the "Autofill your user name and password in Safari on Mac" link at the bottom?

If you did follow that link and reviewed the steps on that page,at which step did you run into difficulty? If you missed that link, go ahead and complete the steps now and let us know the result.

We are here for you.

Keep us posted.
