MacBook Air not recognizing password.

A M1 MacBook Air that we use for travel apparently shut down and is not recognizing my password. There is nothing on the drive that is important. All of my word is on a Mac Mini. Does anyone have any suggestions?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6
