Apple stops the production of the iPod touch last year like you say so it will be very difficult to find one new.
Where you can buy an iPod touch 7 new
- You can buy it in eBay if I am not wrong.
- You can buy it in a website like eBay if eBay it is not in your country
- if you are very lucky you can find it in a store (I don’t now if the iPod touch 7 still in store but maybe)

If you can you can buy an alternative to the iPod touch 7. Here are some reasons to buy an alternative:
- The iPod touch 7 not support iOS 16 that is the last update and will not support iOS 17 and later. (iOS 17 will normally be release this September)
- The iPod touch 7 is an old product from 2019
- The iPod touch 7 is a small product that not have this : A screen of 4.7 inch or more bigger, Touch ID or Face ID, Apple Pay, 64 gb of minimum storage, a god battery, a god camera, a new chip and more…
The best alternative : The iPhone SE 3
The iPhone SE 3 is the best alternative first because he support iOS 16 (and he will support iOS 17 normally), second he is not very old (release: march 2022) and third he has this :
- A 4.7 inch display compare to a 4 inch display
- 64 of minimum storage (you can chose more but it will cost you more)
- Up to 15 H battery and wireless charging (compare to 8 h of battery with the iPod)
- An 12 MPX camera (compare to 8 with the iPod touch)
- An a15 bionic chip (the same that the iPhone 14) (compare to an a10 bionic chip with the iPod touch 7)
- Water résistant (1m up to 30 minutes underwater)
