macbook dock keeps disappearing
The dock keeps disappearing.
I right click it and select Turn hiding off. But moments later it disappears again

Start with making sure the MacBook Pro software is up-to-date. Since updates include fixes, we always want to troubleshoot using the latest version. See steps below to check for macOS update and App Store updates. The information below is also in this article: Keep your Mac up to date.
"To install updates manually on your Mac, do one of the following:
- To download macOS software updates, choose Apple menu
> System Settings, click General 
in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then click Software Update on the right. - To update software downloaded from the App Store, click the Apple menu—the number of available updates, if any, is shown next to App Store. Choose App Store to continue in the App Store

If Mac is already up-to-date or updating didn't help, restart the Mac. Restarting has been know to resolve some software related issue. Follow steps below to restart.
- "On your Mac, choose Apple menu > Restart.
If you don’t want app windows that are open to reopen when your Mac restarts, deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in.”"
