Is anyone else experiencing painful external ear damage and scars from newer AirPods like Pros or 3rd generation?

Yes, in fact I have scars on the side of my face due to my 3rd gen Airpods touching the sides of my face. I've had my 3rd gen for about 6 months and the scars started 5 months ago and haven't gone away. I think it's more or like a reaction to the Nickel on the metallic caps.

ugh that’s not good 😓 we pay so much for them and it’s sad the outcome. Mine are completely PAINFUL and scarred.
