HomeKit Secure Video stopped recording on Sunday April 3rd

Just trying to check on something that happened on my driveway and noticed that none of my cameras have recorded anything since Sunday. I've reset a couple of them and been outside and jumped around and got no recordings. They're different brands so I can say with some amount of confidence that it's not the cameras causing the problem.

I've had this problem with individual cameras before and have had to remove, reset, and re-add from scratch which in itself is a real PITA but I read in this case that HomeKit might be an issue and that logging out and in on your controller may fix the problem... but having 4 Apple TV's and 10 HomePods I really don't want to be having to do that.

And just resetting them probably isn't a fix, I had a power cut on Monday evening which would have taken care of that.

Does anybody have any thoughts on this? I retired a Zoneminder server just 2 weeks ago on the basis that this should be working properly. Randomly not having recordings when something happens makes SecureVideo pretty pointless.

So yesterday, one week after the recordings stopped, they've magically re-started and I've done nothing on my end to have influenced this.

This says to me that there was something wrong on the Apple side. Has anybody else had this experience - either in the last week or in the past? It would be interesting to get a feeling about the reliability of HomeKit Secure Video.
