Stopping of Timers on Shortcuts

Is it possible to stop a timer that’s already running using an automated task?

TheST33LDrummer ~ Shortcuts doesn't offer a Stop Timer action, but perhaps you could use an Alarm instead of a Timer. Then make use of the Toggle Alarm action which can disable an alarm.

...You may get better responses if you post back here indicating what event you would want to trigger the automated task. An Alarm automation can have three triggers: Goes Off, Is Snoozed, Is Stopped.
