It’s not possible to change the passcode in my Apple watch

Since I started using the Apple Watch 8 with iPhone 14 I can't change the watch passcode. The turn passcode off and change passcode functions are disabled (gray out). I don't have any company or school accounts enabled on my iPhone, it’s a personal device. The only way I found to fix it was resetting, but I don’t want to reset the watch every time I need to change my passcode. Could you help me?
