How to unfreeze a cursor

My cursor is frozen, how do I fix this?

iMac 24″, macOS 13.2

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We hope the information may help with the cursor not responding.


If you're unable to restart the device due to the cursor not responding, force shutdown by holding down the power button until the Mac turns off. After a couple of minutes turn it back on. This step has been known to resolve software related issues.
