Devices are not connecting to home sharing

I have an iPhone, Mac air, Apple TV, and iPad. All of the devices are logged in on the same account, all are on the same wifi, all are updated, all have been restarted, and the Apple TV has also been reset. Yet, on the Apple TV and iPhone it tells me that there are no libraries available, but on the Mac and iPad I can open the home sharing library and find the files that are there.

So what do I do?

Hey there Jona_NOR,

The first thing we wanted to provide for your reference were the steps to set up Home Sharing on your iPhone and Apple TV. You can those specific steps under the sections 'Use Home Sharing on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch' and 'Use Home Sharing on your Apple TV' in this link: Use Home Sharing to share media from a computer to other devices

If those steps have been taken already, and you've confirmed those settings are still correct in both devices, we'd like to rule out some other possible causes. We'd also like to learn more about what's happening:

  1. As your other Apple devices are working with Home Sharing without any issues, if this did work on both of the devices that are currently having the issue, when did this start?
  2. You mentioned that both were already up to date, but to confirm, is iOS 16.4.1 and tvOS 16.4 the version numbers installed? You can find out in each device under Settings > General > About.

Cheers!
