Music playback stops when on repeat aTV HD

Currently using an appleTV HD in the bedroom (current TV OS 16) to stream a playlist of 3 songs on repeat as sleep sounds. A few weeks ago it began stopping very early in the morning (usually around 5am). Once it happens, I have to do a power reset to get the aTV to respond. I’ve been using an aTV to do this since the first model in 2006 (although files were stored locally so not a stream issue). I’ve reset the aTV, forgot & reset WiFi info, updated etc and nothing is resolving the issue. As it’s running through a Sonos surround setup & we listen at a high enough volume (we’re used to white noise to sleep with), the sudden silence jars me awake. Any ideas what may be going on? Never had this issue before a few weeks ago. Very frustrating.

Hey DarthDigital,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We see you've gone through some great steps. Let's go through the steps below to ensure repeat is enabled on the Apple TV. You can do so by following the steps below

* Repeat the currently playing song or the entire Now Playing queue: Select the Repeat button . To repeat the entire Now Playing queue, select the Repeat button again. To turn off repeat, select the Repeat button  one more time.

For more information about adjusting settings on the Apple TV, click here: Now Playing: Control music playback on Apple TV - Apple Support

Hope this helps. Take care.
